Nose and throat: occupational hazards
Journal/Book: Med J Aust. 1976; 1: 27-9.
Abstract: Recent reports on the effects of occupational factors in disorders of the nose and throat are reviewed. Chemical irritation is usually responsible for immediate effects, which are transitory but unwelcome. Allergic responses may be more troublesome. The more insidious carcinogenic properties of some industrial irritants are now being recognized.
