Clinical evaluation of acupuncture

Abstract: Single and double-blind studies of efficiency of acupuncture in treatment of chronic neck and shoulder pain of osteoarthritis were performed. The study indicated that the acupuncture was effective. There was a statistically significant difference in efficiency of acupuncture given at the specific and the nonspecific points.
