Beobachtungen über die zusätzliche Iscador-Therapie in der Behandlung der Frauen mit operiertem und bestrahltem Genitalkarzinom

Abstract: At the suggestion of patients who were followers of Rudolf Steiner's anthroposophic movement, the author has used the viscum album preparation "Iscador" in 87 patients with genital cancer of the following groups: cervical carcinoma stage III, ovarian carcinoma stage II, vaginal carcinoma stages II and III and recurrent carcinoma. For 12 patients a more detailed history is given. It appears that by this supplementary treatment the survival of patients with advanced though not disseminated genital carcinoma can be prolonged. No toxic side effects were observed.
