Pomorie - Ein Beispiel für Kurortmedizin in Bulgarien

Abstract: Balneologisches Institut Bad Kissingen e.V. (Leiter: Dr. med. A.-M. Beer) Bad Kissingen Pomorie - an example of health resort medicine in Bulgaria: In an expedition of the "Balneologisches Institut Bad Kissingen e.V." also Pomorie was visited. Pomorie is a health resort with rich traditions which is situated at the southern coast of the Black sea. The most important kinds of therapy are the treatment with peloids brine and sea-water. Apart from gynaecologic diseases are treated orthopaedic internal rheumatic and neurologic disorders. Diseases of the urinary tract and skin affections are successfully treated too. This article shows the therapeutic effects and results. Key words: Pomorie - Bulgaria - balneology - indications - therapeutic results Zusammenfassung: Bei einer Forschungsreise des Balneologischen Instituts Bad Kissingen e.V. wurde Pomorie an der südlichen Schwarzmeerküste besucht. Wesentliche Therapiefaktoren sind in diesem traditionsreichen Kurort die Behandlung mit Limanenschlamm und Wasser eines Salzsees sowie Meereswasser. Neben gynäkologischen Erkrankungen werden orthopädische internistische rheumatische und neurologische Krankheitsbilder behandelt. Aber auch urologische andrologische und dermatologische Erkrankungen werden mit gutem Erfolg behandelt. Der vorliegende Beitrag schildert die uns mitgeteilten therapeutischen Effekte. ___MH
