Biofaktoren beim metabolischen Syndrom

Abstract: The metabolic syndrome comprises obstructions in the metabolisms of the carbohydrates and the lipids. Not treated they lead to diabetes and atherosclerosis. Mean risk factors for vessel diseases are adiposis, hypertonia, hyperlipidemia and smoking, but also deficiencies of vitamins, folic acid, magnesium and zinc. Prophylactic means to prevent these typical civilization diseases are physical work, a healthy nutrition, the absence of stimulants and a sufficient level of antioxidants, vitamins and trace elements.
