Abstract: The familial aggregation of Physical Anhedonia (PA), Perceptual Aberration (PAB) and Magical Ideation (MI) is studied introducing a distinction between qualitative and quantitative familial aggregation. In a non-student sample the risk groups PA+, PAB+, MI+ as well as a control group were defined and interviewed concerning psychiatric disorders of their parents. Further their relatives were asked to fill out the scales PA, PAB and MI. Qualitatively the relatives of schizotypal subjects show diverse psychiatric disturbances. Concerning the quantitative aspect the comparisons between the relatives of each single risk group (e. G. PA+) with the relatives of the control group in the relevant scale (e. G. PA) revealed significant differences just in one class of family members: PA only differentiated between the siblings of the groups; PAB and less pronounced MI just between the mothers. The results are discussed in relation to the existing research of familial aggregation of schizotypy.
