Rogerian leadership style and creativity

Abstract: Groups of three students received exposure to enactments of a Rogerian, considerate, or structuring leadership style while they pondered an engineering problem and considered possible solutions to it. Students who experienced the Rogerian leadership style received higher creativity ratings for their solution to the engineering problem than did students exposed to either the structuring style (p < .01) or the considerate style (p < .02).
