Konstitution und Typologie in der Homöopathie

Abstract: Within the homoeopathic system, constitutional approaches are not only controversial but also very heterogeneous. This has its root in the historical development of the homoeopathic system. In order to get a better classification of the different costitutional approaches, we give a survey of the results of a historical dissertation in medicine concerning these problems. First of all we will start with an analysis of Hahnemann´s system with respect to constitutional thinking. Afterwardw we will give a discription of the doctrine of Eduard von Grauvogl, who has been thi initiator of homoeopathic constitutional thoughts. Finally we will look on the support of the constitutional approach within homoeopathy by modern allopatic constitutional systems at the beginning of the 20th century.
