Personality correlates of the creativity development

Abstract: Parents who participated with their children in the summer camp for gifted children underwent a psychological examination. Due to insufficient number of parents and obtained data no generally valid conclusions could be drawn. However, the results point out the potential relationships between the creativity stimulation in an adult and his/her personality traits, namely intelligence, extraversion, empathy, adventurous character and stage-fright. It is necessary to examine in more detail the similarities and differences in the mechanisms of creativity development in children and adults.
