EXPANDING THE BOUNDARIES OF MUSIC THERAPY

Abstract: This report details the progress of the Computer Aided Music Therapy Analysis System (CAMTAS). The need for the project is first discussed, then the progress of the research and development of the system is given. The research and development carri ed out in this report was funded by the Headley Trust via the Music Therapy Year Appeal. The report is written for a reader with a non-technical background. This is a shortened version of the Report submitted by Mary Abbotson to the National Appeal for Music Therapy, who had provided the founding for the Project through the Headley Trust.
