Homöopathische Arzneimittel in der Geburtshilfe:Verkürzung der Eröffnungsphase bei rigidem Muttermund

Abstract: The effect of several homoeopathic single remedies as well as one homoeopathic combination remedy on the opening phase in patients (n = 30) with rigid uterine cervix have been studied in an open trial. The results of the study show that homoeopathic remedies (single or combination) can reduce the opening phase and therefore accelerate labor. lt seems that there is no difference if a homoeopathic combination or a single remedy is given. Therefore, homoeopathic remedies with a spasmolytic effect can - under special conditions - be used as an alternative or addition to phytotherapeutics, chemically defined or synthetic remedies.
