The controversy between qualitative and quantitative research in education: A legacy of Kuhn's incommensurability thesis?

Abstract: It is suggested that the Kuhnian incommensurability thesis, a major source of inspiration for qualitative researchers, represents an obstacle for a meaningful dialogue between qualitative and quantitative researchers in education.
