She is the coordinator of the music therapy education at the Capilano College, Vancouver, Canada and has written the books The Mythic Artery. The Magic of Music Therapy (1982) and The Field of Play: A Guide for the Theory and Practice of Music Therapy (1989). In 1995 she edited the book Listening, PLaying, Creating. Essays on The Power of Sound.
