Tina-Katrin Zenker Ärztin für Naturheilverfahren Gerontologin Berlin Naturopathy in Geriatric Rehabilitation Zusammenfassung Das komplexe Zusammenspiel verschiedener Alterserkrankungen und altersspezifischer Organleistungsminderungen erfordert in der Akutbehandlung eine an Schwerpunkten orientierte therapeutische Perspektive die jedoch in der Rehabilitation ganzheitlich erweitert werden kann und sollte. Hier bietet die "klassische" Naturheilkunde Behandlungsmethoden die gerade für alte Patienten mit reduziertem Allgemeinzustand sehr geeignet sind und gerne von ihnen akzeptiert werden - und zwar aus den Bereichen Bewegungstherapie Hydrotherapie Phytotherapie Diätetik und Ordnungstherapie. In the treatment of acute disorders the complex interactions existing among various geriatric illnesses and age-specific impaired organ functioning demand a therapeutic outlook oriented towards essential aspects which can and should however be expanded in a holistic sense during rehabilitation. In this context classic naturopathic techniques offer methods of treatment highly suitable in particular for geriatric patients with reduced general condition methods that are readily accepted by them and available from the areas of kinesitherapy hydrotherapy phytotherapy dietetics and the restoration of harmonic life patterns and rhythms.
