Immunologische Befunde vor und nach 21tägigem Fasten

Abstract: In 18 patients (12 female, 6 male, aged 29-67 years, average age 48.7 years), various haematological/ cellular and humoral parameters relevant to immune system function were measured before and after 21-day therapeutic fasting according to Buchinger. Of the more than 50 individual parameters analyzed, 87% mainly normal values in fasting, 6% arenormalized due to fasting, 1.3% are slightly raised following fasting and 0.5 % drop slightly following fastin; in 0.4% valuse raised in the primary state are low after fasting and in 0.1% values lowered in the primary state are high after fasting; in1.9% raised values remain high, 3% lowered values remain low. In the multitest according to Mérieux, 12 of 18 patients remain normal, 5 of 18 normalize due to fasting and 1 of 18 develops pathology.
