Behandlung von Patienten mit Colitis ulcerosa und Morbus Crohn mit Thymusextrakt-Injektionen und i.v.-appliziertem Sauerstoff

Abstract: Ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease are diseases where currently unidentified pathogens cause auto-immune reactions in the basis of genetic predisposition. Extraintestinal manifestations observed on patients suffering from colitis indicate generalised auto-immune reactions.In the case of chronic enteritis, immundiagnostic methods (gene probes, FACS T-lymphocyte subpopulation analyses, delayed skin tests, proof of IgA deficiency, the existence of specific circulating immunity complexes, etc.) are used to detect disorders in the immune system. They are mainly characterised by thymus deficiency (e. g. low thymosin-alpha- 1 level in the blood plasma, negative scores of the skin tests against well-known antigens).The very good results of a combined treatment with thymus peptides and i.v. infusions with medical oxygen are explained in detail.
