Abstract: In an open, multicentric and prospective study of use, a total of 30 patients with stress incontinence were treated with a homeopathic complex remedy over a period of six weeks.The primary objectives were the intensity of urinary incontinence and the tolerability and safety.Throughout the treatment, the intensity of urinary incontinence was rated using a scale with seven scores. A significant decrease in the intensity was observed after six weeks (Wilcoxon's precursor rank test: p<0.05).The tolerability was assessed as very good in all cases. No adverse events occurred during the treatment.The results obtained in this pilot study are promising and must be investigated in further controlled studies.A well tolerated homeopathic approach could open new ways in the treatment of incontinence.
