Interpersonal Hypothesis of Music and Guha Method

Abstract: On the ground of the interpersonal hypothesis of music, tested 1964, 1965 and 1968 by F. Knobloch, the psychiatrist and psychotherapist, and his group, and more than 20 years lasted analytical musicological work, the new verifying was performed by using the GUHA (= General Unary Hypothesis Automaton) method. On the work of B. Bartok has been shown that different groups of respondents are able to testify the morphological differences. The elaboration by GUHA method confirmed the presuppositions from the year 1975, as well as the the original assumptions of the interpersonal hypothesis of music from the year 1964.
