Vaginal applications in chronic salpingitis

Abstract: Objective: The effectiveness of vaginal mud application in cases of chronic salpingitis is to be proved.Subjects: 42 patients with chronic salpingitis were treated with vaginal mud application.Design: The results were retrospectively evaluated.Results: 78 % of the patients showed an objective recovery. To reach the results, 10 to 30 treatments were necessary. Nearly all patients tolerated the treatment and bad the feeling of recovery.Conclusions: It was shown that vaginal mud application represents a valuable therapy for chronic salpingitis.
