Impfungen gegen Tumorzellen

Abstract: Because cancerpatients suffer commonly from immunodeficient states, since 100 years tumorcell vaccinations have been analysed. Unfortunately the immunesystem is only able to meddle with smaller portions of tumorcells. That is the reason, why immunotherapy alone cannot replace the usual cancertherapies. Tumorcell vaccination is not able to attack larger tumors. Very important is the activation of the immunodefencesystem in respect to micrometastases or to remove damaged tumorcells. With means and methods of adjuvant immunobiological therapies it is possible to influence the outcome of the tumordisease and to improve the health condition.
