Voruntersuchungen zur Sauerstoff-Kohlensäure-Mehrschritt-Kur nach M. von Ardenne (SKMK)

Abstract: Using a bath-chamber which encloses the body leaving the head free the oxygencarbon dioxide multistep cure (OCMC) has methodologically been tested and with this a respective programme for the cure has been developed. The synergism between CO, and heat as found in the first part of this article could also be observed under conditions of the bath and that as process of the whole body. With a bath of at maximum 50 minutes (20 minutes of conditioning and 30 minutes of cure phase) Oz-concentrations up to 80 % (v/v) were reached. With a temperature of the bath set at 40 °C the temperatures of the body increased at maximum for 1,2 °C. In a trial cure with 5 single baths the perfusion of the skin increased eightfold to fifteenfold. In the discussion the results and the conception of a OCMC are explained and a subsequent special investigation with curative application is announced.
