Zur Frage der Wirtschaftlichkeit homöopathischer Behandlungsmethoden in der Kassenzahnarztpraxis

Abstract: Today, dentists accepting panel patients are subjected toa great variety of regulations and rules which extremely restict their free choice of therapy because economic aspects predominantly determine the therapy applied. With the treatment of acute dental diseases dominating the dentist´s work today, the medical records of the authors´s own patients and statistics of accounting of KZV (= organization of dentists on the panel) from 1983-1990 have been analysed to find out to what extend the general replacement of traditional therapies by homoeopathic ones since 1984 affect the accounting frequency of certain fees. The results of other dentists and the potential economic advantages for socienty have been calculated.
