Der Konstitutionsbegriff in der Homöopathie

Abstract: Over the years two directions of homoeopathy developed, which are dissociating on and on, while her representatives do not realize the reason of this extreme process. The homoeopaths of the one direction reduce the very seldom "pure type of constitution" to few attributes (e.g. called "essence") and they think, a patient labeled in this way (e.g. "coward" 0 Lycopodium) requiring only one medicine - the constitutional remedy - in high potency and in long intervals lifelong in ( nearly) all complaints. The homoeopaths of the other directions are pointing out the changing symptoms and syndromes and they attempt to "cover" them with the particular fitting remedy. Thus the patient sometimes receives constantly changing remeides in a quick succession. These two diverging homoeopathic directions developed - despite the same purpose - as a result of wrong presumptions and conceptual obscurities.
