Abstract: Digitaloid drugs enjoy widespread therapeutic use as so-called combination drugs in pharmaceutical preparations for general medical applications. The following critical assessment of digitaloid drugs was necessitated by legal requirements stipulating that the therapeutic efficacy of combined drug preparations with digitaloids be described so as render an evaluation of their usefulness and harmlessness possible. The Position statement, which is based an therapeutic efficacy only, draws a positive conclusion.
