Effects of low doses of arsenite (Ars) on arsenite-intoxicated mammalian cells

Abstract: In Homeopathy effects are already obtained when low doses of a compound are applicated to organisms with a pathological condition, provided that a large similarity exists between the pathological symptoms and symptoms induced by high concentrations of the compound. We have performed research on this regulatory concept, using the following strategy: 1) A pathological condition is induced in cell cultures by application of a toxic compound (Arsenite (= Ars)). 2) of applicated stressors (similia rule).
