Diederich) Kreiskrankenhaus Roding Zusammenfassung Als Komplikation chronischer Pankreatitiden kann es zu Milzvenenthrombosen kommen. Es wird über einen 67jährigen Patienten mit rezidivierender Pankreatitis berichtet. Infolge einer Pseudozyste in unmittelbarer Nähe des Milzhilus kam es zu einer Milzvenenthrombose mit ausgedehntem Umgehungskreislauf und erheblichen Venektasien im Fundusbereich. Eine schwere gastrointestinale Blutung erforderte notfallmäßig Splenektomie Gastrektomie und Pankreasteilresektion. Uncommon Complication of a Pancreatic Pseudocyst. Haemorrhage of Fundic Varices Following Thrombosis of the Splenic Vein: Chronic forms of pancreatitis may be complicated by thrombosis of the splenic vein. The present paper reports on a 67-year-old patient with recurrent pancreatitis. As a result of a pseudocyst intimately related to the hilus thrombosis of the splenic vein occurred with extensive collateral circulation and considerable venectasiae around the fundus. Severe gastrointestinal haemorrhage dictated emergency splenectomy gastrectomy and partial pancreatic resection. ab
