Instrumentalspiel mit Behinderten: Ein Modellversuch und seine Folgen

Abstract: The handicapped, whether physically, mentally, or learning disabled, are represented in only small numbers in private instrument instruction and in music schools and conservatories. Even so, they are generally as well able as the nonhandicapped to enjoy and also to make music. In a model experiment of several years, efforts were made to include and encourage the handicapped in special schools as well as in music schools to participate in instrumental music instruction (this activity is not to be confused with music therapy).
