From out of the silence

Abstract: Patients are not simply collections of bones and blood. They have stories to tell which are of importance. The task of the researcher is to facilitate the expression of what is important to the patient; this may be sung, played as music, told as a story, choroegraphed as a dance, painted as a picture or displayed as a photograph.
