Non responders der Akupunktur - komplementäre Neuraltherapie

Journal/Book: Deutsche Zeitschrift für Akupunktur. 1991; 34/02: 43-47.

Abstract: According to new ideas acupuncture is a non-nociceptive afferent stimulating method. Precise setting of needles provoke skin-, muscular-, tendeons- and periostical affferences (Heydenreich). Not infrequently acupuncture touches the border-lines of its effectiveness. Especially in randomized, prospective studies with schematized point-patterns. The rate of success can be increased if anamnestic and energetic connections are taken into consideration. Even then it may happens, that 20 to 50% of the cases do not respond to therapy, because an active focus and/or blockades are setting a limit. From a cybernetical point of view all living organism can be considered as energetically open system. Consequently a big variety of regulation-disturbances can arise combined with the possibility of chronification of illnesses. The cause for such deregulations are often foci within the body. A focus is considered to be an area with wrong biological behavior. Pathogenetic stimulus informations destroy all segmental order and labilise different regulation circles. Neuraltherapie is a method to cope with such foci. Neuraltherapy is the diagnostic and therapeutic use of small doses of local anesthetics free of vaso-constricting drugs for the symptomatic or causal interruption of nociceptive afferences, or is also used directly at the focus itself (e.g. scars, nose and throat area, teeth, lower basin, vertebral columne etc.).
