Enzyme Therapy - Basics and Application Possibilities

Abstract: Enzymes are complexly structured proteins with catalytic features. Comprehensive studies have proven their active resorption from the intestines, which was initially doubted. Enzymes improve important haemorrheological parameters, such as viscosity, and after a longer period of application, they decrease the cholesterol and the triglyceride levels while increasing the carrier (HDL). This fact suggests their application with atheromatous vascular diseases. The diminution of the oedema by splitting mediators and activating fibrinolysis allows the use of enzyme therapy to appear sensible after a thrombosis and with secondary lymphatic oedemas.Furthermore, enzymes activate the cellular resistance and degrade atypical immunoproducts - which explains the successful application with rheumatoid arthritis and other autoaggressive diseases.
