Vertebragene Schmerzsyndrome und Persönlichkeit

Abstract: Chronic vertebragenic pain syndromes are often due to a multifactorial genesis. Besides psychoreactive (neurotic) mechanisms somatic disorders have to be considered. The purposeful and successful use of the neural therapy has to be orientated accordingly. Neuroses require a primary-psychotherapeutical care. In this the neural therapy may be indicated and necessary within the frame of a somatic adjuvant therapy. In the frame of a pilot study the frequency and the incidence of neurotic disorders with differently localized vertebragenic complaints have been investigated in relation to the accompanying neurological symptomatology. In this an accumulation of neurotic disorders could be demonstrated in the group of patients with lumbosacral complaints as compared to the group with syndromes of cervical disorders. A special structure of the personality between lumbar and cervical pain syndromes cannot be found.
