Sexualstörungen in der gynäkologischen Praxis

Abstract: Sexual disorders are more frequently encountered than one generally supposes. However, it is not always immediately talked about them. The reason for this is often that patients show a "certain shyness" to talk about them with the physician. Sometimes, there is also not sufficient time for a detailed discussion which is necessary for dealing with such problems. Many diseases have a "psychic-sexual" reason. Spastic parametropathies, lumbago and stomachache, fluor, disorders of the urinary bladder and the like may be considered to belong to such diseases. As soon as the sexual disorders are removed the said symptoms disappear spontaneously. The partner should in any case participate in such a discussion.In the article disorders of libido and orgasm, frigidity and vaginism are discussed and advices as to the therapy are given.
