Einige Faktoren zu Größe und Sensibilität von Akupunkturpunkten an Tier und Mensch

Abstract: The effects of various factors affecting the size of AP were investigated both in animals and in men. A very marked increase was found in the size of AP in rabbits post mortem; the changes were studied using a stereomicroscopic examination of skin conductivity. Similar changes were found in the AP studied in vitro; the respective strip of skin of a rat was incubated at in vitro conditions. The hypothesis is formulated that the very existence of a well delineated relatively small projection of the AP on the skin surface requires a good energetic supply. On the other hand, immediately after a myelotomy or a dorsal root transection in rabbits no changes in AP appeared. (The results of a long term study of AP after an unilateral denervation in rats was published otherwhere.) Apart from the electrophysiological properties of AP the sensitivity of AP to constant radian heat was found to be another valuable parameter helping to evaluate the functional state of the AP. Thus the different reaction of state of the AP. Thus the different reaction of the two AP (S 36 and Li 4) under the effect of the gradually increasing physical excercise in men is being described in this paper.
