Abstract: Functional Medicine as a modern term for health and disease as an integrated part of our environment, our planet and cosmos. Chronic diseases are increasing rapidly, so is the frustration of patients and doctors who cannot handle chronic diseases successfully with methods of orthodox medicine. Functional Medicine is not only a special way of dealing with functional disturbances without clinical findings but could also be a reasonable concept for orthodox medicine.
