Ergebnisse der konservativen Behandlung von typischen Speichenbrüchen mit und ohne Arbeitstherapie

Abstract: Aus der Chirurgischen Abteilung (Leiter: MR Dr. med. R. Stafetzky) der Kreispoliklinik Aue und der Klinik für Chirurgie (Chefarzt: MR Dr. se. med. K. Mann) des Bezirkskrankenhauses "Ernst Scheffler" Aue Zusammenfassung Aus den Kranken der Chirurgischen Abteilung der Kreispoliklinik Aue werden 2 Patientengruppen (A und B) mit konservativ behandelten Speichenbrüchen in einer prospektiven Studie verglichen. Die Patienten der Gruppe B wurden bei noch liegender Unterarmgipslonguette frühzeitig arbeitstherapeutisch betreut. 3 Monate nach dem Unfall konnten in dieser Gruppe deutlich bessere funktionelle Behandlungsergebnisse nachgewiesen werden. Bei der konservativen Behandlung typisch distaler Radiusfrakturen ist der Einsatz der Arbeitstherapie schon in der Phase der Immobilisation zweckmäßig. Summary From among the patients of the surgical department of the district policlinic at Aue two groups of patients (A and B) with conservatively treated typical fractures of their spokebones were compared with each other in a prospective study. Early exercises with still affixed longuettes were performed with the patients of group B according to an occupational therapy programme. Three months after the accident distinctly better functional results with this group could be stated. With the conservative treatment of typical distal fractures of the he radius the application of occupational therapy for obtaining optimal functional results has already proven useful in the phase on immobilization. ___MH
