Ergebnisse einer prospektiven Vergleichsuntersuchung zur Effizienz der physikalischen Kombinationstherapie in der postoperativen Frührehabilitation bei Chondropathia patellae

Abstract: Aus der Abteilung Physikalische Medizin und Rehabilitation - Zentrum Radiologie - der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover (Vorstand: Professor Dr. Dr. E. A. Zysno) Zusammenfassung In zwei Therapiegruppen mit jeweils 30 Patienten nach Operation einer Chondropathia patellae wurde ein Effizienzvergleich der physikalischen Kombinationstherapie mit der übungstherapeutischen Monobehandlung vorgenommen. Bei homogenen Ausgangsbedingungen zeigte der multivariate Verlaufsvergleich mit allen relevanten klinisch- funktionellen Parametern deutliche Gruppenunterschiede mit entsprechenden funktionellen Spätresultaten. Dabei erwies sich die Kombinationstherapie gegenüber der Monobehandlung eindeutig überlegen. Im Vergleich mit den Ergebnissen aus früheren Untersuchungen wird der Einfluß der Kombinationstherapie auf die retropatellare Knorpelregeneration und die Verbesserung funktioneller Leistungsbedingungen diskutiert. Summary Results of a comparative test to the efficiency of the physical combined therapy during the early post- operative rehabilitation of chondropathia patellae After the operation of a chondropathia patellae the efficiency of treatment of the physical combined therapy was compared to the exercise mono-therapy in two groups consisting of 30 patients each. Starting with homogeneous conditions the multi-variable comparison of the course with all the relevant clinical-functional parameters showed significant group differences corresponding with the late functional results. Thereby the combined therapy turned out to be clearly superior to the mono-therapy. Comparing results of earlier studies it is discussed the influence of the combined therapy on both the retropatellar regeneration of the cartilage and the improvement of functional conditions of performance. ___MH
