Abstract: The integration of disabled children into īregular' schools is a current educational and social issue causing widespread interest, concern and debate throughout Australia. My research has involved a study of teachers' concerns towards the integration of disabled children into their classes using the Concerns-Based Adoption Model (C-BAM) developed by Hall, Wallace and Dorsett in 1973 at the University of Texas, Austin USA. This paper will provide background information on Victoria's integration policy, reasons for the survey, the choosing of the C-BAM measuring instrument, the results and an analysis of the data. The findings have implications for all classroom teachers, as potentially all are required to accept disabled children into their classes, for special educators, and for training institutions responsible for the pre-service and in-service programs of present and future classroom teachers.
