Moon Sense: An Original Musical Play for Young Adults with Learning Disabilities

Note: The story of the spiritual journey of a young woman who learned that by viewing her handicap as a Òhandy capÓ she could approach lifeÕs obstacles with new confidence and vision. The lead role requires memorization and singing ability. Others in the cast speak a few lines with a few short solos. Actors with small parts may also play short, easy instrumental accompaniments to the songs. The audience learns how it feels to be treated disrespectfully due to traits that are not considered ÒnormalÓ and raises the question: What is normal anyway?
