Abstract: Functional activity of nerve endings - an important factor affecting the skin impedance of Acupuncture points. A report on various experiments showing the skin impedance on Acupuncture points. An anatomic integrity and the typical physical and chemical parameters of the nerve fibres underneath more profound layers are necessary. The latter depend on different factors, including changes of ions, swellings, activation of sympathetic nerve cells, hormonal effects etc.
