Ganzheitsmedizin in der allgemeinärztlichen Praxis

Abstract: In the family doctor´s practice in which also today the majority of all patients is taken care of and medically treated not he diseases but man with his diesases is the centre of medical thinking and activity. Man as the whole is emphasized and dealing with him accordingly requires hositic way of consideration as well as strategies. The holistic duty as well as approach in general medicine occurs at five levels: 1. somatic,2. psychic, 3. social, 4. family and 5. biographical level. At a patients´s fate the single informational levels are described showing possibilities and limits of the family doctor´s activities. At the end of the lecutre possibilities are shown in a catalogue of particulars, how the present holistic approach in the family doctor´s practice might in future be improved and developed.
