Abstract: The therapy with static magnetic fields is from the vasodilator, analgetic, antiphlogistic point of view very effective, harmless, free from side effects and technically it can be executed easily with a minimum of apparatuses.The static magnetotherapy is suitabele for a short-term acute treatment as well as for a long-therm treatment of chronic processes. The therapeutic efficiency lies between 60 and 70%. With this is must be taken into consideration, that the biomagnetic effect is developing in a cumulative way during a repeated application. Therefore this effect normally does not occur immediately, but after long repetitions and in this case with immense certainty.
