Homeopathy as Holistic Medicine Shown with the Example of Gastritis.

Abstract: In order to find the suitable therapeutic agent in homeopathy, the doctor has to thoroughly clarify all the symptoms. Only a very differentiated consideration of the individual manifestations of the basic disease enables the doctor to find the simile. A particularly detailed anamnesis is necessary, which includes the whole patient: his mood, his full bodily appearance, the situation of his life, and all special features of his symptoms and signs. With nine case histories of patients suffering from gastritis, the author elucidates this procedure which in spite of the similarities in the patients' situations - leads to different medications of an individually adapted homeotherapy.
