Abstract: For suddenly occurring conditions of high fever the homoeopathy knows two drugs of convincing efficacy:Atropa belladonna the deadly night-shadeAconitum napellus the Monks's-hood or Wolf's-baneHahnemann published the results of his drug examinations (= AMP) carried out with these two drugs in the first publication of his AMPs in 1805 entitled:'Fragments de viribus medicamentorum positivis, sive in sano corpore humano observatis'("Fragments with respect to medicaments from positive plants, if observed in the healthy human body") and later in more detail in the first volume of the "Real Pharmacology" (1811).Based an studies of the pharmocology of these two drugs we like to raise the following questions:Question 1: What should be estimated higher: the AMP at the healthy human being or the voluntary poisoning?Question 2: How far do the AMPs agree with the present results of the pathophysiology and the clinical pharmacology?Question 3: In how far do the constituents of the plants affect the picture of a drug in a specific way?Question 4: Are our pharmocologies free of errors?
