Wissenschaftliche Homöopathie 1. u. 2. Teil

Journal/Book: Allgemeine Homöopathische Zeitung. 1989; Heft 5: 191-200.

Abstract: In the first part of the study the scientific approach of the physicist Hawking is set as an example for all kinds of theoretical work, Every theory is a hypothesis which can never be proved positively and thus cannot be declared a dogma. Essentially theories create models and rules for observations. The Law of Similars and High-Potency are such rules within the development of homoeopathie theories. In that sense they satisfy scientific requirements and establish a basis for further work. The experiments done by J. Benveniste in order to prove the efficacy of High-Potency are briefly described including those rejected by an examination board - and then integrated into the newly accomplished understanding of theories. By clarification of her theoretical assumptions and their connexion to scientific standards homoeopathy will have more effect in the universities and the public health institutions. Finally a few deficits regarding the historical scientific issues of the subject of homoeopathy are pointed out.
