EGB 761 - Position zwischen exakter Wissenschaft und medizinischer Heilkunst

Abstract: The research groups working in the field of EGB 761 have managed to isolate and to analyse the active agents. Thus, it became possible to carry out specific pharmacological, biochemical and clinical investigations. Systematic clinical tests with EGB 761 confirmed the results obtained by animal experiments as well as empirical knowledge. The presented data allowed a scientifically well-founded evidence to proof the efficacy of EGB 761. EGB 761 has a convincing therapeutical efficacy with a good tolerance. This therapy provides a positive utility/risk relation. In practice, the reaction of a patient to a therapy either with synthetic or plant drugs is decisive for an evaluation. The treatment with EGB 761 can lead to a successful therapy. As in the case of digitalis preparations, an undisputed therapeutical utility can be stated. A therapeutical use for many years made it possible to collect scientific evidences of the efficacy and harmlessness.
