Zum anthroposophischen und homöopathischen Heilmittel

Journal/Book: Scientia Pharmaceutica. 1989; 57: 275-279.

Abstract: According to Rudolf Steiner, sickness is a natural process that must not be classified as abnormal On the contrary, sickness is a result of the „astral" or mental-psychological basic mood in man. lt follows then that the finding of remedies has to be interpreted cosmologically. lf it were to become possible to internalize the relationship, the microcosmos, and the macrocosmos, the separateness of man and the cosmos would also be resolved. This is the basis of the anthroposophical approach to healing agents, which assumes that a macrocosmical process working in the human being can have a healing effect This philosophy differs from the homeopathic theory of healing agents of S. Hahnemann, which was both vitalistic and dynamistic in approach. For the anthroposophists, any healing agent must undergo an adaptation, i. e. a homeopathic process, prior to application. The relationship between the anthroposophical and homeopathic doctrines of healing agents is the concept of the symbiosis of nature and man. In an effort to settle the controversy between allopathy and homeopathy, the anthroposophical concept follows the principle of a holistic approach to treatment. Taking account of modern advances in the natural sciences, a mental-scientific approach can now extend the homeopathic philosophy of Hahnemann.
