Cerebral hemispheres and music

Abstract: The author tries to paint a balanced picture concerning the relation between the two hemispheres of the brain and music. Based on research, Smeijsters concludes that there is a difference concerning a more holistic and a more analytic way of sensing and handling music. (The difference between left and right hemisphere). Author finally warns against taking this division as a strict dualism.
