Aktivierung der Knochenbruchheilung durch Ultraschall

Abstract: Aus der Chirurgischen Abteilung der Zentralen Hochschulpoliklinik (Direktor: Prof. Dr. sc. med. Dr. h. c. H.-G. KNOCH) der Medizinischen Akademie "Carl Gustav Carus" Dresden Zusammenfassung Die Verordnung von Ultraschall zur schnelleren Differenzierung und Wachstumsanregung des Kallusgewebes in der Humanmedizin ist wissenschaftlich begründet. Die Ultraschallenergie bewirkt eine zeitliche Verkürzung der Knochenbruchheilung von 30 bis 50% je nach Frakturlokalisation und garantiert eine frühere Belastungsstabilität Verkürzung der Arbeitsunfähigkeitsdauer und Verhinderung von Komplikationen wie z. B. den Morbus Sudeck. Das bedeutet auch volkswirtschaftlich durch Senkung des Krankenstandes einen hohen Gewinn. Durch die Ultraschallbehandlung erfolgt: - eine raschere Knochenbruchheilung - eine frühere Übungs- und Belastungsstabilität der Fraktur - eine zeitliche Verkürzung der Immobilisation der frakturisierten Extremität - eine zeitigere Wiedereingliederung in den Arbeitsprozeß. Summary The prescription of ultrasound for the purpose of the more rapid differentiation and stimulation of the growth of the callous tissue in human medicine is scientifically well-founded. The ultrasound energy effects a temporary shortening of the healing of the bone fracture of 30-50 % according to the localisation of the fracture and guarantees an earlier load stability shortening of the duration of unability to work and prevention of complications such as Sudeck's disease. This means a high gain also in economic respect by reduction of the number of patients. By means of ultrasound treatment is achieved: - a more rapid healing of bone fractures - an earlier exercise and load stability of the fracture - a temporary shortening of the immobilisation of the fractured extremity - an earlier rehabilitation. ___MH
