The progress of a group

Abstract: Five therapy sessions with a group of neurosis-affected patients hospitalised in a psychiatric clinic in Berlin are described. Fear, distrust and self-neglect among the patients lead to serious disruptions in communication which, by means of a painful process, was worked on to the stage at which subsequent further therapy was possible.
