Die Laserakupunktur bei Schmerzen im Gesichts- und Kopfbereich

Abstract: Within over 2 1/2 years treatments with Laser-acupuncture were practiced specialized on pain areas head and face.34 female and 6 male patients were therapied, where of 32 with Laser and 8 with placebo treatment. The patients were treated 3 times a week for at least 4 weeks. The irradiation points followed approximately the old Chinese system of acupuncture.The results showed, that this therapy is without any problem or danger neither for patients nore for therapists. The best success could be seen with patients suffering of migraine headaches.As the effective radius of Laser acupuncture therapy is a periphere, not a causal one, the Laser-irradiation must be carried on continously, eventually for years.
